Royal Temple Yacht Club are fortunate to have an active Cruising Section comprises both sailing and motor cruisers. Our emphasis is not so much cruising in company, but company while cruising.

With France visible from the Harbour on a fine day we have several foreign ports only a few hours away, some in fact closer than London itself.

Boulogne, Calais, Ostend, Nieupoort and Blankenberg are therefore favourite haunts for a quick weekend away and a refill of the larder and wine cellar from what we now term as our local shops.

English pounds are readily accepted in numerous European Ports, and mooring fee discounts are available with a fleet.

After a long cruise away the balcony area at the Club allows the stories to be told and friends both old and new to socialise back on home territory.
