Founded by a small group of dedicated sailors initially using very small model yachts in a paddling pool to the East of Ramsgate.
In 2006 the small group went out and purchased RC Lasers - 3 soon became 20 and the fleet was formed.
Racing takes place every fortnight between October and April on Sunday mornings. Everyone is welcome and it usually ends up with a visit to the club bar after racing.
