In conjunction with Broadstairs Sailing Club we have adopted the Laser SB3 to provide high quality racing in the South East for this very exciting Sportsboat. 

We pride ourselves in having the very best facilities available, both on and off the water, for anyone who wants to experience the thrills and excitement that this highly popular boat has to offer. 

We initially propose to provide a programme of weekend race events each month throughout the summer that takes due regard of the travelling involved for both owners and crew. This will also fit around the existing programme of races at the various venues in the South of England. 

For boat launching we have a travel hoist that has a 1 tonne jib crane that will launch around 6-8 boats per hour, providing a low cost of handling. We also have a slipway that can be used at all states of the tide with boats going straight into deep water. 

There is also a tidal marina for overnight mooring during weekend racing. 

Boat storage is extremely user friendly and masts can be left in the boat when being transferred to the boat park, which is very close at hand. 

For those unfamiliar with Ramsgate, there is a large choice of modern seafront café bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance of the Marina. And of course we also have the Club, which has its bars and some overnight accommodation.

Attend the Demo Weekend!

If you’re interested in the SB3 but not sure about it, come for a sail on our Demo weekend March 24^th. 

There will be at least 3 boats available for a trial sail, which are being provided by Performance Sailcraft (Laser).
